Christine Santelli and Heather Hardy are accomplished musicians whose recent collaboration, "Live in the Parlour," highlights their notable careers and musical collaboration.
Christine Santelli is a Grammy-nominated songwriter, a New York Blues Hall of Fame inductee, and a staple of the NYC music scene for over 30 years. She has released 10 albums and has toured globally, performing at major festivals including the famed, Montreux Jazz Festival on the bill along side, Bonnie Raitt and Steve Cropper with the Blues Brothers . Her songwriting has received recognition from R&B legend Bettye LaVette, who recorded two of Santelli’s songs. In 2025, Santelli and the Big Ed's Blues Jam crew received the "Keeping the Blues Alive" award from the Blues Foundation in Memphis.
Heather "Lil’ Mama" Hardy is a Blues Hall of Fame inductee based in Arizona/NYC, renowned for her virtuosic violin work, powerful vocals, and songwriting. She leads her own band in Tucson and is celebrated for her energetic and soulful stage presence. Hardy has a deep background in blues and roots music, earning recognition for both solo and collaborative projects.
Their joint album, "Live in the Parlour," was recorded during two live shows at The Parlour in Jersey City in July 2023. The album contains 13 songs—nine penned by Santelli, three by Hardy, and one traditional tune. It captures their combined strengths in blues, roots, and Americana, showcasing a genuine mutual respect and electrifying on-stage chemistry.
