The host and organizers of the popular Everything Jersey City Festival are proud to announce the coming of the "Central Avenue Auto and Music Show." A group of Central Avenue businesses are now leading the way to start this new tradition in the Jersey City Heights. The organizers are now busy planning an unforgettable day of family-friendly fun for the entire community. The event is scheduled for Saturday May 16, 2015 and will take place between 11 AM to 7 PM, rain or shine, near Central Avenue's municipal parking lot (352 Central). About Salem Roadhouse Café You wouldn’t think that a coffeehouse tucked away in a church basement would become the local hotbed of musical talent, but that’s just what has happened with the SALEM ROADHOUSE CAFÉ over the past seven years. Musicians simply love the place, and when musicians love a place they play their hearts out for the audience. It’s a coffeehouse; not a bar. The Roadhouse serves coffee and tea, and a selection of hot and cold snacks and desserts all included in the admission. The audience and the performers are within touching distance of each other — it’s a very intimate musical experience, and it brings out the best in the performers. The sound system and professional stage lighting ensure an enjoyable experience. And there’s art. The Roadhouse presents original art work on display and available for purchase in the ROADHOUSE FINE ARTS GALLERY. Show proceeds always benefit a selection of local charities.
